Fusion Gamer is back! For now…

It wasn't so long ago that Fusion Gamer closed it's doors, shut down it's emails and left the world of Gaming behind. Well it hasn't all been quiet. Behind the scenes we have been busy, very busy.

Last year Fusion Gamer teamed up with York College to organise the Game Studio project. The Game Studio presented groups of students from all over the college the chance to make their own Video Game. Working in teams the students covered many aspects of Game Development, from building and presenting design documents to music creation and licencing.

At the end of the year the teams showcased their games to a group of judges from several industry outlets including ourselves and social gaming wizards Dubit. Supported by studios such as Blizzard, EA, Tecmo Koei and many more the games were judged on 3 categories with the winners taking home amazing prize bundles.

This year things are getting busy. Once again the Game Studio is coming to a close and Fusion Gamer is at the head. One thing has changed however, the winner of this years  showcase will be chosen to show off their game to the public as part of York's historic mystery plays this August.
